Simply give us the vessel's name and departure time: your companion arrives at the pontoon with the agreed margin, dressed for a day under sail, and the crew welcomes her like any other guest. The usual charters head for Formentera or the southern coves and return with the sunset, six to nine hours at sea. It is wise to book one or two days ahead so timings can be coordinated with the skipper, although in season we also arrange same-day boardings. What does a luxury night around the marina look like?
It begins on the quays, with an aperitif among the hulls and the sun setting over the ramparts. At ten, Lío opens its cabaret above the water: dinner, show and the finest night view of Dalt Vila, the island's most coveted evening and the one that most rewards brilliant company. Afterwards, two paths: Pacha and its eternal cherries five minutes away on foot, or Chinois, the room occupying the space of the former Heart, for a more intimate night. Those who prefer elegant chance have the Casino de Ibiza beside the marina, tables open until the small hours. For this circuit we recommend bookings of six hours upwards; the tuxedo is optional, punctuality is not.
How far ahead should companionship in Botafoch be booked?
It depends on the plan. For dinner on the quay or a glass at the casino, a few hours' notice suffices: the marina lies five minutes from Ibiza Town and our companions arrive with Swiss punctuality. For Lío in high season, table and company are best secured two or three days ahead, because the cabaret sells out; and for a full-day charter the ideal is a week, time enough to select the companion best suited to the atmosphere on board and coordinate with the crew. Boat parties with several guests call for a prior conversation: we can propose two or three profiles that complement one another.
